The First ICCS Conference "Uncovering the Magic of Consciousness"

May 15, 2024

The ICCS has announced its first conference, themed "Uncovering the Magic of Consciousness: Philosophy, Neuroscience, AI" scheduled to take place at the Santa Maria della Scala Museum, Sala “Italo Calvino”, in Siena, Italy, from June 27 to 29.

The principal objective of the First ICCS Conference is to investigate whether it is really possible to unveil the magic of consciousness within a scientific framework or, instead, whether it is such an evanescent phenomenon that it requires an account which goes beyond cognitive science. Designed as a three-day symposium, the conference is structured to accommodate a variety of formats, encouraging participants to present their contributions in the manner most suited to their expertise. This includes talks on pertinent topics, open discussions, manuscript or published paper reviews and poster presentations. The conference program is available by the link.
