The Annual ICCS Conference

The International Center for Consciousness Studies holds an annual conference on a wide range of problems in the philosophy of mind and related areas, including philosophy, neuroscience and artificial intelligence.

The aim of the ICCS Conference is to promote consciousness studies and to propose new directions of interdisciplinary research in this area.

Welcoming both internationally acclaimed researchers and young scholars, the conference supports an interdisciplinary discussion in a collegial and stimulating atmosphere, aiming to help philosophers to engage with science and to encourage scientists, cognitive psychologists, neuroscientists, and computer scientists to address hard philosophical issues.

The First ICCS Conference "Uncovering the Magic of Consciousness: Philosophy, Neuroscience, AI," took place in Siena, Italy, from June 27 to 29, 2024. In the short video below, you can see some of the highlights of the conference.
